MICA to develop Cheltenham Ladies’ College masterplan

Founded in in 1854, Cheltenham Ladies’ College is an independent boarding and day school for girls aged 11-18 in Cheltenham with around 850 students from all around the world. MICA were selected following a competition to develop a strategic vision and 20-25 year estate masterplan for the leading independent school. 

The brief is to accommodate modern teaching requirements and improve pastoral care focussed around a New Science Centre, centralised catering and improved and new boarding and nurturing houses

The estate covers 23 acres in the historic Lansdown and Bayshill areas of Cheltenham. The main teaching campus and a number of outlying residential sites.
