Oxford Brookes University Student Village

MICA is delighted to have been appointed by Oxford Brookes University to prepare designs for the redevelopment of their Clive Booth Student Village. The proposed scheme will deliver a net increase of approximately 600 rooms across a mixture of flat and townhouse typologies along with shared social spaces and a new public nursery. The proposals will include twelve new student accommodation buildings set within a wooded hillside located in East Oxford. The buildings will be integrated within a landscaped woodland, providing outdoor spaces for the residents to relax. The designs are currently being developed and are due to be submitted to the local planning authority in the spring of 2021. Public engagement with the communities in and around the project can be accessed on the Oxford Brookes University website here.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to enhance the existing woodland landscape setting, augment Oxford Brookes University's student accommodation whilst delivering the highest sustainable standards. Students will benefit from a fantastic learning environment with close proximity to Oxford Brookes’ Headington Campus, the adjoining parkland and network of historic footpaths.”
