Chris Wood
Technical Director

Chris is Technical Director at MICA. His role provides technical and contractual support to Project Architects across the entire portfolio. From detail design to on-site activities with an emphasis on quality of specification and construction detailing.

Chris has a wealth of experience and has worked on a range of significant projects in the UK and abroad. He has worked for MICA since 1998 and in 2014 awarded with RIBA accreditation as a Specialist Conservation Architect.

Chris continues to be involved in providing specialist input on a diverse range of projects across the office.

Chris leads a team to develop a unique standard building specification, based on the National Building Specification (NBS) which is utlised in all building and construction projects, tailored to meet the needs and requirements of each project.
