Peking University Business School Submitted for Planning

MICA and the team have submitted Planning and Listed Building applications for the redevelopment of Peking University HSBC’s campus at Foxcombe Hall, Oxford.

The proposals are for new excellent research and teaching space and high-quality postgraduate student accommodation, alongside new facilities for both the academic and local communities to enjoy. The proposals will provide an additional 60 student bedrooms, dining hall, campus café, gym, extension to the lecture space, teaching space, study space and associated external works.

The final design, which has been submitted to Vale of White Horse District Council, is the outcome of ongoing consultation and discussions with local stakeholders, planning officers, neighbours of Foxcombe Hall and the wider local community.

The project website has been updated with a model walk through of the proposals. The film shows an eye-level walkthrough of the proposals starting at Berkeley Road, moving west to Bedwells Heath, travelling along Jarn Way, into the gate and then reversing back out of the gate and along Jarn Way, until the buildings and site disappear from the view.
