MICA hosts Open Studios as part of London Festival of Architecture

MICA hosted a very enjoyable Open Studio as part of LFA this summer. The studio situated just off Camden High Street was busy with clients, consultants, peers and many new visitors to the practice.The exhibition featured our work at Centre Point, Lincoln’s Inn, Keble College, King's College London and Fair Field, Croydon, and displayed physical models, video and drone footage, material samples, and animations which combined gave an impression of MICA’s approach working across the scales – Cities, Streets, Buildings, Paths, Spaces and Parts. The terrace was transformed with a geometric pattern on the decking, to reflect our design for the new public square at Centre Point, and we had a virtual reality headset for visitors to experience our design for a new digital hub at Jesus College.
