MICA seeking Part I and Part II Architectural Assistants

MICA Architects is looking for Part 1 and Part 2 architectural assistants to join its team in London.

About us:

MICA is a leading international architectural and masterplanning practice based in Camden Town. We work across all sectors and scales and have made major contributions in the transformation of education, urban, residential and cultural environments. MICA was awarded Architect of the Year and Refurbishment Architect of the Year 2020 by Building Design.

Our friendly and skilled team includes certified Passivhaus designers and Specialist Conservation Architects. We are signatories of the Architects Declare: Climate and Biodiversity Emergency and we follow the limits set out in the RIBA 2030 Climate Challenge. We are patrons of charities including the Architects Benevolent Society, Stonewall, Paradigm Network and are W Programme members, promoting diversity within our profession. We offer additional paid time off to volunteer for these or other charities.

Our live projects include a number of collegiate masterplans and education buildings across London, Oxford and the southeast, international education campuses, mixed-use masterplans, town centre regeneration, infill schemes for London boroughs, and a variety of conservation and retrofit schemes for commercial and cultural uses.

Candidates will ideally:

– be self-motivated and have strong design and presentation skills
– be proficient across Sketchup, MicroStation and Adobe packages
– have excellent model-making skills
– have a positive work ethic and be able to communicate well
– Revit experience is desirable but not essential
