Designed to suit different age brackets, our proposals combine aspirational unique design commensurate with Wellington’s requirements, while enduring, sustainable and deliverable. Designing an international school for Wellington requires a careful balance of functionality, innovation, and cultural sensitivity. The design aspires to be as ambitious, inclusive, and globally minded as the students it will serve—integrating world-class teaching facilities with dedicated spaces for sport, music, the arts, AI, and entrepreneurship.

Sustainable Masterplanning for Future Generations

MICA’s role spans strategic masterplanning, sustainable design, stakeholder engagement, and full project delivery, ensuring a future-proof campus embedded within the wider Alaro City vision. This development underscores the increasing role of educational infrastructure in shaping equitable, resilient urban futures, especially in emerging cities.

“In Alaro City, we are creating more than just buildings—we are designing an entire educational ecosystem that is as ambitious, dynamic, and future-facing as the young people it will serve.”
