The Heathcote Grove development will provide high quality affordable new homes for Waltham Forest on an infill, brownfield site within the existing estate of 23-33 Heathcote Grove. The scheme provides 21 affordable new homes including a provision of 3-bed ground floor family-sized units, together with 1 and 2 bed homes and a full provision of fully accessible homes. The new homes have been carefully designed and configured to maximise usable space; provide dual aspect light-filled homes; carefully consider privacy for new and existing tenants and neighbours; and offer external space whilst providing future flexibility.

An integral aspect of the scheme is an extensive new landscape strategy for the majority of the site that will improve amenity, add playspace, increased on-site tree planting and increase bio-diversity and the greening of the site.

The proposal is designed to adopt fabric-first principles of insulation and prevention from solar heat gain and provide 100% renewable, gas-free, energy approach for the new buildings.
